Imagine Jesus getting on HIS donkey to ride in triumphantly... towards HIS death. Imagine Paul sitting on a beach among the debris of a ship wreck he just survived, resolved to move forward. Imagine Peter full of the Holy Spirit on the day of Pentecost knowing the religious community was still out to squash him but feeling compelled to move forward, sharing his faith in public.
Jesus declared in Matthew 11.12 (NLT) “the Kingdom of Heaven has been forcefully advancing“.
Our mission is to make Christlike disciples and our model is to never stop moving forward. This is why I believe that God is calling us forward. It’s why I believe God will provide the resources to accomplish our mission and move us forward.
And now let us add action to faith. It will take all of us, working together, to reach the lost. The more we forcefully advance in this goal, the more we will see the Kingdom of Heaven come here on Earth as it is in Heaven.
